The design and programming of COMPASS Mediator is informed, in large part, by Thom Bond’s long-standing relationship with world renowned mediator, Marshall Rosenberg, the pioneer of Nonviolent Communication. Bond’s mentorship and friendship with Rosenberg began in 2002 and continued until Rosenberg's passing in 2015. COMPASS also draw from Thom Bond’s years of experience studying the work of Werner Erhard and his personal mentorship under Albert Ellis, the founder of Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). Bond’s exposure to these innovative thought leaders has enriched his understanding of human psychology and communication, contributing to the creation of an AI chatbot that offers users a truly holistic and transformative experience.
